The Finds Stories Open Course
A core component of Finds Stories is the training of educators on how to produce Object Biographies and Creative Object Biographies (COB) and consequently teach through them. Thus, complimentary to the Handbook (O2) we produced a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) available to everyone who is willing to use and adapt the Finds Stories methodological framework, objects, COBs, and/or resources in second language teaching.
The MOOC is designed in a format that a participant will be able to complete it in maximum 21 hours. These 21 hours will include interaction with the course videos, recorded lectures, quizzes, and exercises, alongside with independent study of resources and publications available through the MOOC. The MOOC structure leads, towards a series of presentations, videos, and activities to the better understanding of the Finds Stories method and resources.
All material included in the Teach FINDS Stories course are created under the Creative Common Attribution + Noncommercial + ShareAlike licensing format. We are using the CC BY-NC-SA with the aim to allow re-use parts of Finds Stories for other open education courses and transfer the Finds Stories methods to other contexts.
